In the nature park you get a zipline and via ferrata in one package. We call the area the nature park because the area was developed as a nature park in the 1990s. For 20 years, the park stood untouched and overgrown before Explore Geiranger took over. The nature park is a mix of natural deciduous forest and cliffs along the Geiranger River. In the park itself around Dynamittfossen, ornamental trees and ornamental shrubs have been planted. The area is currently under development and will eventually appear as a renewed nature park.
Zipline & Via Ferrata
in the nature park!
The first thing you encounter in the nature park is a Via Ferrata in two parts. The first part traverses along the Geiranger River. After about 50 meters you meet a 30 meter long Nepal bridge that crosses the river to a tower. From the tower there is a new Nepal bridge that leads back to the mountain wall. Here are two choices; go to the right if you want a little easier climbing. Go left if you want an airy and a little more challenging climb.
After via the ferrata, walk 200 meters through the deciduous forest to the start of the zipline. We wanted to build ziplines where you can fly through UNESCO nature. From treetop to treetop, over gorges and waterfalls. Norway’s first double zipline where two people fly parallel on the wires through five short and longer stretches. This is the zipline for friends on a trip or family. Spend a pleasant day in Geiranger and create a shared experience!
